GREENVILLE – Juanita F. Tidd, 85, died Nov. 28, 2008, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Hartford, Conn., daughter of Richard and Ursula (Aubin) Lavigne. She worked for many years for Stover Plywood Mill, Greenville, and later for Wortman’s Store and for Squaw Mountain Ski Area. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville. She is survived by a son, Malcolm Tidd of Dexter; sisters, Mary-Jane Marshall and her husband, Ted, of Dover-Foxcroft and Lucille Thibeault of Greenville; a brother, Thomas Lavigne and his wife, Patricia, of Greenville; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Francis Lavigne, who died in the Philippines during World War II. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Greenville Cemetery.
