HOLDEN – James H. Pearson, 60, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, surrounded by his family at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, after a lengthy heart related illness. He was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Bangor, son of the late Pearlston “Perk” Pearson and Marjorie (Rafford) Paine. He graduated from East Corinth Academy, Class of 1966. He was a retired member of U.A. Local 716 Plumbers and Pipefitters S&A, Inc., after 20-plus years of employment. He enjoyed riding Harleys, hunting, and last year enjoyed a fishing trip to Alaska with his friend, Gig. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim is survived by his children, Ashley E. and John A. Pearson; and their mother, Diane T. Pearson, all of Holden. He is also survived by a sister, Jean Bragdon and her husband, Dwight, of East Corinth; brothers, Keith and his wife, Bonnie, of Brewer, and Scott and his wife, Tammy, of Glenburn; sister, Peggy of Bangor; a special uncle, Burns Rockwell of Marietta, Ga.; his stepfather, Del Paine of Holden; stepmother, Fran Pearson of Bangor; numerous nieces and nephews; best friends, Irving Creath and Brad Kelley; and friends too numerous to mention, especially from Red Barn Campground, Holden. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, at a date and time to be announced. As I look down from my place above, I see a room full of love. Sister, brother, friends are there, no one speaks, they only stare. I try to say I am alright, the death of me I know was right. My time had come, it was meant to be, now my soul can be set free. Please don’t shed a tear, I have nothing left to fear. Now it’s time to say goodbye, I love you all so please don’t cry. My life has been a happy one, don’t be sad now that it’s done.
