Bangor — Festival of Lights Parade, downtown at 4:30 p.m. with tree lighting to follow in West Market Square. Music performances will be held beginning at 3 p.m. at the reviewing stand on Main Street. Parade starts at Railroad Street, proceeds to Main Street, to Central, to Harlow, to Exchange, finishing by Bank of America.
Belfast — Events from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. all day at several locations around town, culminating in the lighting of the tree at 5 p.m. at City Hall.
Farmington — Chester Greenwood Day celebrates the inventor of the earmuff starting with a parade at 11 a.m. downtown. Chili contest, gingerbread house contest, holiday wreath sale, other activities follow at the Titcomb House. For information call 778-4215.
Greenville — Christmas at Moosehead features the annual Inn Walk, an opportunity to tour the town’s inns and bed and breakfasts decorated for the season. For information, call 695-2702.
Presque Isle — The Holiday Light Parade caps a day of activities.
