CARIBOU – Philip L. Theriault Sr., 90, died Dec. 6, 2008, in Caribou. He was born Feb. 16, 1918, in St. Agatha, the son of Isadore and Boselis Theriault. Mr. Theriault was a self-employed carpenter in the Caribou area for many years and will be remembered by all as a hard worker. During World War II Phil served with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He married Irene Marquis and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip and Gloria Theriault Jr. of Caribou and Gerald and Betty Theriault of Presque Isle; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Mack Bragdon, Jackie and Robert Nadeau and Nola and Larry Plourde, all of Caribou; one sister, Regina Tardiff of Plainville, Conn.; 18 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews. Mr. Theriault was predeceased by his wife, Irene in 1993; and his son, Donald in 1992. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring Interment will be at St. Agatha Cemetery.
