STETSON – Priscilla J. (Clark) Marchand, 81, passed away Dec. 6, 2008, while at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Lowell, Mass., the daughter of George T. Clark Sr. and Divola (Orcutt) Clark. Priscilla worked as a secretary for Raytheon, Missal Systems Division, Billerica, Mass., for 30 years before retiring to Maine. She enjoyed Beano, collecting stamps, knitting, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriot’s fan. Priscilla will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her three children, Nancy J. Donnelly of Nashua, N.H., David E. Matthews of Stetson and James T. Matthews of Amesbury, Mass.; one sister, Juanita H. Harvey; one brother, George Clark Jr.; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest Matthews; her second husband, Alphie Marchand; two sisters, Hazel Shaner and Elizabeth Forbes; and one brother, Robert Clark. Family and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Clark’s Hill Cemetery, Stetson Road, Stetson, with the Rev. David Ray Sr., pastor of Stetson Union Church, officiating.
