WASHBURN – Leonard Flood, 72, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at a Caribou health care facility. He was born Aug. 15, 1936, in Pembroke, the son of Arnold and Della (McCready) Flood. Leonard worked in Alaska on the pipeline for 12 years and worked maintenance at Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant. He liked to travel and enjoyed antique cars. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Alice Flood; two nephews, Barry Flood and Bryon Flood and his wife, Maria; a great-niece and a great-nephew, Valerie and Scott Flood, all of Washburn. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Bernard Flood; and a niece, Valerie Flood. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in spring 2009 at Round Pond Cemetery, Charlotte. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
