MOLUNKUS – Catherine E. Norris, 92, wife of the late Carleton Norris Sr., passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 28, 1916, in Ripley, the daughter of Harlan and Ethel (Higgins) Benner. Catherine was a past member of Order of the Eastern Star, Mattawamkeag. She is survived by five children, Carleton Norris Jr. of Molunkus, Richard Norris and his wife, Sherrill, of Lincoln, Robert Norris and his wife, Gloria, of Mattawamkeag, Peter Norris and his wife, Cheryl, of Mattawamkeag and Martha Kimball and her husband, Steve, of Medway; a sister, Martha Tracy of Newton, Mass.; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Catherine was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Tolle. Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Grindstone Cemetery, Medway.
