BRIDGEWATER – Gloria Jean Lunn, 61, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at her residence. She was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Houlton, daughter of Vernon C. and Jennie A. (McCarty) Suitter. She attended schools in Houlton and Linneus, and Hodgdon High School. Gloria worked in various jobs in her lifetime, mostly with kids and the elderly, which she loved very much. She enjoyed all the Deering Lake kids and the No. 9 kids, playing cross-country Parchessie with Tony and Ryan at the No. 9 Lake camp. She is survived by her former husband of 29 years, Arthur V. Lunn; two daughters by a former marriage, Judith Spooner of Bridgewater and Cindy Nason of Elsberry, Mo.; five grandsons and two granddaughters; two sisters, Joyce Smith and her husband, Kenneth, of Littleton and Janice Ramsey of Hollis Center; three brothers, Timothy Suitter and his wife, Betty, of Hodgdon, Tom Suitter of Bangor and Gregory Suitter and his wife, Marie, of Brewer; a brother-in-law, John McGuire of Old Orchard; numerous nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews; two special great-nephews, Levi and Cordel Smith, whom she visited every Saturday since their birth, she was their Aunt Gia! Gloria was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Gladys McGuire; and her son, Jeremy A. Lunn in 2000. Do not cry for me, as I’ll be with Jeremy. A long time apart, now together forever. “Finally reunited.” At her request, there will be no calling hours or service. A committal service will be at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater, in spring 2009.
