LIMESTONE – Marjorie Louise Irwin, 81, passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at a Caribou hospital. She was born Oct. 14, 1927, in Limestone, daughter of George and Elsie (Thompson) Hamilton. Marge attended Abbot Academy Prep School and later graduated from Vassar College. In 1950 she married John H. Irwin and they soon returned to Limestone, where they spent their lives together farming. Marge had a good life. She is survived by her son, John H. Irwin of Waterville; a daughter, Bonnie Savage; grandson, Craig Savage of Coram, Mont.; a sister, Evelyn White of Salisbury, Md.; numerous nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no services at this time. Burial will take place at Webster Cemetery, Limestone, at a later date.
