MADAWASKA – Gisele Tie, 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born July 4, 1922, in St. David, the daughter of George and Lucie (Dufour) Pelletier. Gisele loved to travel around the world with her husband. She also had a special interest in genealogy. She is survived by one brother, Armand Pelletier of Madawaska; three sisters, Alfreda and her husband, Lucien LaCasse, of Berlin, N.H., Auror Coltart of Madawaska and Jeannine Wharton of Madawaska; a special nephew, Richard and his wife, Lynda Coltart, of Bradley; several nieces and nephews. Gisele was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph; three sisters, Sister Velma Pelletier, Lucille Pelletier and Cecile Pelletier; and two brothers, Gerard Pelletier and Edward Pelletier. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Family and friends may call 8 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Daigle Funeral Home. Spring interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
