CASTLE HILL – Lorna Lovley, 56, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at her home. She was born July 21, 1952, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Elbridge “Ebb” and Ann (Hafford) Lovley. She graduated from Presque Isle High School, Class of 1970. Lorna lived and worked in California for 10 years. Upon returning to Maine, she had worked at Maine Public Service, Daigle Oil Co. and at Lane Construction, Inc. as a dispatcher. She was a devoted daughter, a great singer and entertainer, had a big heart and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her parents of Castle Hill; two brothers and their wives, Conrad and Janice Lovley of Camden, S.C., and Brett and Mary Lovley of Mapleton; three sisters, Sonya Cheviot of Mapleton, Serrena Lovley of Lamoine, and Lori Bruce and her companion, Steve Schenck, of Fall River, Mass.; two nephews and their wives, Darcy and Stephanie Lovley of Bangor, and Dale and Rebecca Lovley of Spotsylvannia, Va.; two great-nephews, Landon Lovley of Spotsylvannia, Va., and Matt Lovley of Bangor; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a niece, Kesha Lovley Morris. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Lucy Lovley officiating. Relatives and friends may call 5 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Castle Hill Cemetery.
