MADAWASKA – Alfreda Levesque, 82, died Dec. 28, 2008, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Madawaska, daughter of Willie and Eulalie (Hebert) Hebert. Alfreda was a lifetime auxiliary member of Thomas O. Cyr Legion Post No. 147 of Madawaska and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by two daughters, Rita Tinker and her companion, Ken Neff, of Akron, Ohio, and Linda Albert and her husband, Don, of Madawaska; one brother, Nivard Hebert and his wife, “Ti Pee,” of Madawaska; two grandsons, Paul Tinker and Chad Albert; one great-granddaughter, Kianah Albert; several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Interment will be later in the spring at St. David Cemetery.
