CARIBOU and DEDHAM Marie “Beech-Nut” R. Hebert, 56, wife of the late Aristile J. Hebert, died peacefully Jan. 4, 2009, surrounded by her loving and supportive family at her Dedham home, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born Nov. 21, 1952, in Frenchville, the daughter of the late Leo and Patricia (Derosier) Chamberland. Marie graduated from Presque Isle Adult Ed in 1979 and attended Northern Maine Technical College in 1982 for automotive. Marie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her fiance, Albert Gagnon of Dedham; three daughters, Nancy L. Avant of Holly Hill, Fla., Mary E. Paradis-Williams and her husband, Charles E. Williams, of Cowen, W.Va., and Marcy M. Hebert of Seminole, Okla.; one son, Leland O. Paradis Jr. and his wife, Danielle, of Caribou; two brothers, Leo P. Chamberland and his wife, Sherry, of Presque Isle, and Lee E. Chamberland and his wife, Nancy, of Berkley, Mass.; and four sisters, Leola and her husband, Richard, of Caribou, Sandy Gagnon and her partner, Wade Hafford, of Fort Kent, Linda and her husband, Stef Dore, of Davenport, Iowa, and Carol and her husband, Gary Robbins, of Dedham. She also leaves behind stepchildren, Donna Emerson and Lorraine Johnson; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, Joshua R. Linn; and stepson, Danny Hebert. Marie also leaves behind so many special friends. Her family thanks all her special friends for the love and friendship they have given her through the years. Services will be private for the family.
