BUCKSPORT – Marion Dunbar Grindle, 99, wife of the late Alton D. Grindle, died Nov. 26, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. A service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. on her 100th birthday, Thursday, Jan. 29, at Franklin Street United Methodist Church, Bucksport, with the Rev. Peter Remick officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may honor her by making a donation in her memory to Franklin Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1727, Bucksport, ME 04416 or Buck Memorial Library, 47 Main St., Bucksport, ME 04416. Arrangements are being made by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
