WEST ENFIELD – Marcia R. Brown, R.N., 54, passed away Jan. 27, 2009, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1954, in Lincoln, the daughter of Harvey and Beverly (Jones) Long. Marcia was a dedicated, hard working person. She was a good mother and a good wife. Everyone who knew her was better off because of it and she touched many lives. She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Brown; two daughters, Kimberly Dube and her husband, “Doob,” of Enfield and Theresa Andrews and her husband, Tim, of West Enfield; a sister, Anna Olsen and her husband, Donald, of Lincoln; two brothers, Jeff Long and his wife, Wendy, of Lincoln and Brian Long and his wife, Lorraine, of Colorado; an aunt, Pat Tibbetts of Lincoln; a very special friend, Phyllis Hanscom of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She also leaves several special friends at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Hyland officiating. Spring interment will be at Dodlin Road Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Tulsa Oklahoma branch of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, 10109 E. 79th St. (81st Street & Highway 169), Tulsa, OK 74133.
