HARTLAND – Margaret Marie Dunn, 66, died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at her home. She was born May 25, 1942, in Honesdale, Pa., the daughter of Edward and Nancy Doherty. Margaret graduated from Honesdale High School, Class of 1960. She married James A. Dunn, Nov. 2, 1961, and together they raised six children. She was employed at Tissues Boarding Home, Athens, and enjoyed caring for the residents. Margaret loved to read. She enjoyed making baskets, sewing, crocheting, baking, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved decorating for all the holidays and made many flower centerpieces for those she cared for. She will be missed by her husband of 47 years, James Dunn of Hartland; her six children, Lewis Dunn and his wife, Mary, of Honesdale, Pa., Jeffrey Dunn and his wife, Darlene, of Walden, N.Y., Barbara Wentworth and her husband, Kevin, of Oakland, Carol Dunn and her partner, Tim Curry, of Fishers, Ind., Kevin Dunn and his wife, Rebecca, of St. Albans and Marisa Cooper of Hartland; six grandchildren, Matthew Dunn, Riley Wentworth, Blaine Cooper, Holly Wentworth, Dana Cooper and Marten Dunn; two brothers, Edward Doherty and his wife, Ana, of New York and George Doherty and his wife, Betty, of Florida; her sister, Annabelle Fives of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Catherine Martin and Nancy Schupper. Service will be private.
