DEXTER – Richard L. Bell, 68, died Feb. 9, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 29, 1940, in Cambridge, son of Ainsley and Eleanor (Burdin) Bell. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and later worked for Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter, for many years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Cambridge; and Anah Temple Shrine, Bangor. He is survived by a son, Garrett Bell of Dexter; two stepsons, George Quimby of Madison and Gavin Quimby of Ripley; and a sister, Helen Chason of Mississippi.
