VAN BUREN – Jeannine M. St. Pierre, 79, died Feb. 19, 2009, at a Frenchville nursing home. She was born May 7, 1929, in St. Andre, New Brunswick, daughter of Alphee and Memory (Levesque) Poitras. She is survived by one son, Roger St. Pierre and his wife, Peggy, of Madawaska; two grandchildren, Marc and Samantha St. Pierre; four sisters, Imelda Desjardins and Pauline Gaudreau, both of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Dorilda Laforge of St. Andre, New Brunswick, and Geraldine Page of Moncton, New Brunswick; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Clavette of Green River, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, George St. Pierre in 1984; and by one daughter, Margo St. Pierre in 1959. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, 11 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time, Tuesday at St. Andre Catholic Church, St. Andre, New Brunswick.
