STOCKHOLM – Lucille Rossignol, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at a Caribou hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1927, in Daigle, the daughter of Wilfred and Alice (Provost) Bechard. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 136, as well as a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Stockholm. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alexis Rossignol; and two sons, Robert and Claude Rossignol. She will be lovingly missed by four sons, J. Alex Rossignol and his wife, Inga, of Clarksville, Tenn., Edmund Rossignol and his wife, Ellen, of Milton, N.H., Dave Rossignol and his wife, Heidi, of Wade and John Rossignol and his wife, Rae, of Winthrop; one daughter, L. Marie Anderson and her husband, Donnie, of New Sweden; one brother, Gilbert Bechard of Florida; a special sister, Gloria Pelletier of Stockholm; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Per her request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
