LEE – Kathy M. Welch, 54, died very unexpectedly Tuesday night, March 3, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She is survived by her husband, Hal, who loves her very much; two daughters, Joyce and Teisha and her husband, Aaron Priest, all of Lee; three grandchildren, Arynne, Quinton and Camden Priest; and her parents, Glenn and Joyce Speed of Smiths Station, Ala. She is survived as well by all of her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Skip and Eileen Speed of Smiths Station, Ala., Bec and Dave Madasz of New Port Richey, Fla., Pam and Tom Izon of Harmony and Gary and Melanie Speed of Howland. She will also be sorely missed by several nieces and nephews. Kathy will be remembered by all as a woman who lived her faith and loved her Lord. In lieu of a funeral, there will be a celebration of her life and her Lord later this spring, exact date and time to be announced.
