GUILFORD – Francis M. Stanio, 60, died unexpectedly March 5, 2009, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born May 4, 1948, in Saugus, Mass., son of Frank and Doris (Roberts) Stanio. He graduated from PCHS, Guilford, Class of 1967. He worked for Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter, for almost 30 years. Francis also worked for the maintenance department for SAD 4. In his later years he worked for Global Contact Service, Pittsfield. He is survived by his wife, Christy (Davis) Stanio; two daughters, Angela Oldham and her husband, James, and Amy Stanio; two grandchildren, Joshua and Kayla; and a sister, Anna Coombs and her husband, Mike, all of Guilford. The family will be hosting a gathering at Christy’s home, 11 Spring St., Guilford. Friends and family are invited to drop by between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8.
