ELLSWORTH – Nancy Lee Willey, 58, died unexpectedly March 5, 2009. She was born Nov. 29, 1950, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Howard B. and Gwendolyn P. (Carter) Clement. Nancy graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1969. She was a very happy person, loved everyone and always had a smile on her face. Nancy especially enjoyed ceramics, arts and crafts, and going to yard sales. She deeply loved her family, but her grandson, Evan, was the twinkle in her eye. Though ill, Nancy bravely persevered throughout her illnesses. She also was a member of Post No. 207 of Trenton. Nancy is survived by her father and mother, Howard and Gwendolyn Clement of Ellsworth; her beloved husband of 39 years, Louis H. Willey of Ellsworth; one daughter, Tammy and her husband, Kelvin Mote, of Ellsworth; one brother, Dwayne Clement and wife, Dusti, of Sorrento; one sister, Brenda Hamilton of Ellsworth; five grandchildren, Evan VanDorn, Grayson, Elizabeth, Gavin and Eric Mote, all of Ellsworth. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, as well as her dog, Tiffany. Tammy and Brenda will miss the great love and friendship that they shared with Nancy. Friends are invited to visit with her family 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where a memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 11.
