CARIBOU – Eugene E. Robbins Jr., 51, died March 13, 2009, at his residence, after a brief illness. He was born June 6, 1957, in Caribou, the son of Eugene and Carol (Bubar) Robbins Sr. Mr. Robbins was a 1976 graduate of Caribou High School and was a self employed commercial cleaner in the Caribou area for many years. Eugene was a talented artist, skilled with both pencil and brushes. He was an avid truck lover and could be found tinkering under a hood as often as with his family. Surviving in addition to his parents, are his three daughters, Holly, Kimberly and Jennifer Robbins, all of Caribou; two brothers, Craig Robbins and Doug Robbins; as well as two sisters and a brother-in-law, Becky and Doug Bell, and Susan Ennis, all of Caribou; five grandchildren, Keane, Kylie, Gabriel, Edward and Katie; a niece, Kristi Bell; and nephews, Tim Robbins and Dan and Doug Bell Jr. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, with the Rev.
