ORRINGTON – Ralph A. St. Louis, 68, died unexpectedly March 16, 2009, at a Bangor hospital, with the love of his life “Linnie” and his family at his side. He was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Old Town, the son of Ralph and Emelia (Thibodeau) St. Louis. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Vietnam. He worked for Sears in the various departments for 30 years, retiring in the 1990s. Ralph was a longtime member and past president of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Post No. 3177, Brewer and was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Red Sox. “Ralpha” looked forward to his daily meetings with the “Breakfast Club” at the Eagles Club, where he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many special friends too numerous to mention – you know who you are. Ralph had a way of walking into a room and making people laugh. He also had a very gentle and sweet nature about him. Surviving, in addition to his loving wife and best buddy, Linda J. (Huntington) St. Louis of Orrington, are two special daughters, Robin Arnold and her husband, Scott, of Holden and Jackie Fleming and her husband, Peter, of Bangor; three granddaughters, Kailee Deprey, Kara Fleming and Maddison Arnold; his children, Michelle, Joseph and Sarah; one brother, “Red” St. Louis and his wife, Patty; special sisters-in-law, Brenda Kenney, Gloria Ouellette, Ann St. Louis, and Marilyn Smith and her husband, Mike; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Lester St. Louis and Ronald “Cyc” St. Louis. Ralph requested that no formal service be held. A celebration of his life with a spring interment will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to one’s favorite charity. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. Condolences may be offered at www.kileyandfoley.com.
