LEEGOMERY, England – Saskia Constance DesRosier, 3, beloved daughter of William and Angelika DesRosier of Leegomery, England, was summoned to heaven Feb. 8, 2009. She was born June 14, 2006, in Pretoria, South Africa. She gallantly struggled with the rampant rare blood disease for more than a year, endearing herself to the doctors, staff and caretakers at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. She would dazzle her entourage with her proficiency in three languages and her willingness to sing. She passed away in her mother’s arms. She leaves behind her mourning parents; brother, Dante; maternal grandparents, Tony and Ulrika Kohlmaier of Pretoria, South Africa; paternal grandmother, Constance Desrosier of St. Agatha; her godparents, Philip Desrosier Sr. of McDonough, Ga., and Francine Ouellette of Tolland, Conn.; a very special aunt, Monika Kohlmaier of London; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. A prayer service was conducted Feb. 27 in the United Kingdom with the parish priest, the Rev. Alban Greenwood officiating. Burial with a Mass of angels will be held in the spring at St. Agatha Church.
