PERHAM – Elwin R. Dickinson, 91, died March 23, 2009, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. He was born Jan. 13, 1918, in Perham, the son of Albert W. and Loretta (Roy) Dickinson. Elwin was employed in the farming industry and farm related businesses all his life. Surviving him are his two sons, Willard M. Dickinson of Portage, and David E. Dickinson and his wife, Frieda, of Ashland; a daughter, Brenda Boyce and her husband, David, of Bucksport; three grandchildren, Scott Dickinson and his wife, Jennifer Dickinson, Lt. Col. Rick Dickinson and his wife, Maj. Carla Dickinson, and Ginger Lundgren and her husband, Donald Lundgren; and four great-grandchildren, David Dickinson, Shelby Dickinson, Orion Lundgren and Britni Lundgren. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Charlene M. Dickinson; and two sisters, Autis Hobbs and Margaret Craig. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. David Goupille officiating. Relatives and friends may call noon until the time of service at the funeral home. A spring interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Perham.
