In Loving Memory Of JANA MARIE FRANCK March 27, 1978 – Sept. 12, 2008 Our Promise Things haven’t been the same since you’ve been gone. For a while we wondered how we would carry on. The emptiness inside, it aches all the time. That is the reason why we are writing this rhyme. When we heard the news, we didn’t know what to do. It happened so suddenly, it just couldn’t be true. They said you’d passed on, and you weren’t coming home. You’d gone to heaven to be with Mom, where your souls could roam. We cried all day and we cried all night. We say we’re okay, but we are not quite alright. How can we pretend that we are not still in pain, and wipe away the tears that fall like rain. We remember the days, the days we had together. And your smiling face will live with us forever. This is your promise, a vow we’ll keep evermore. You’ll be in our hearts until we reach heaven’s door. Happy 31st Birthday, Jana! With love from all of your family
