LINCOLN – Annie M. MacDonald, 84, wife of the late Harry MacDonald, died March 29, 2009, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Lincoln, the daughter of Thomas and Lillian (Beathem) McNamara. Annie was a member of the Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Lincoln. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, crocheting and knitting. She loved camp at Madagascal Pond, the Red Sox and Patriots. She also loved Oreo cookies, watching The Price is Right and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Solomon, Naomi Jordan and Margaret Cressey and her husband, Jim, all of Lincoln; a sister, Priscilla Condon of Mapleton; six grandchildren, Stanley Solomon of Hancock, Sharon Barnes of West Enfield, Lisa Jordan, Missy Bean, Richard Curtis and his wife, Lisa, and Jason Curtis and his wife, Celina, all of Lincoln; 14 great-grandchildren, Robin Barnes, Michael Barnes, Nicole Reed, Randy Reed, J.R. Jordan, Caitlyn Jordan, Nickolas Millett, Gabriel Bean, Hannah Bean, Christopher Bean, Lexi Barker, Phylicity Curtis, William Curtis and Alexandria Curtis; two great-great-grandchildren, Cadance and Chloe Ireland; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 53 years, Harry MacDonald, she was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters. Friends and family may gather 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 30, at 417 Transalpine Road.
