BAR HARBOR – June W. Faulkingham, 89, died March 28, 2009, at a Bar Harbor health care facility. She was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Harrington, daughter of George A. and Hattie (Ramsdell) Woodward. June loved knitting, sewing, crocheting and cooking. She loved her family and helping other people. She is survived by her son, David Carl Faulkingham of Southwest Harbor; daughter Joan Rutledge and husband, Gerald, of Kittery Point; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Paul Sr.; her sons, George Albert and Paul Jr.; and brothers, Carl and Delwin Woodward. Friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 1.
