LINCOLN – Lawrence Harvey “Doc” Reed Jr., 73, passed away April 18, 2009, at his home. He was born March 3, 1936, in Lincoln, the son of Ellen (Soule) and Lawrence Harvey Reed Sr. He is survived by a brother, Randolph Reed and Carol of Naples, Fla.; two nieces, Jean Burnham of Livermore Falls and Barbara Richards and David of Wellington, Fla.; and great-nephews, Michael Burnham of Livermore Falls, Brandon Richards and Emily of Louisiana and Eliot Bucks-Reed of Trucky, Calif. He also leaves close friends, Cliff and Clara Cooke, and Janet and Albert Radovic, all of Lincoln. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Leta St. Peter. Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Penobscot Valley Humane Society, 1 Park Ave., Lincoln, ME 04457.
