PARKMAN and HARMONY – George F. Foss, 73, died April 26, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1935, in Parkman, the son of Ivan and Grace (Chesley) Foss. Frankie is survived by a brother, Charles E. Foss of Dover-Foxcroft; two sisters, Beatrice Patterson of Dexter and Mary Lou Redmond of Dover-Foxcroft; an aunt, Ruth Nickerson of Passadumkeag; several nieces and nephews. Frankie’s family extends a special thank you for the loving care he received from his caretakers and special friends, with whom he had made his home for many years, Don and Jeannie Smith and family of Harmony. He was predeceased by a brother, Gayland; and two sisters, Marion Russell and Bernice Foss. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, May 8, in the family lot at Pingree Center Cemetery, Parkman, with Pastor Harold Wheeler officiating.
