JONESBORO – Vicki Lynn (Pepin) Snowdeal, 49, passed away April 28, 2009, surrounded by her family, at her home. She was born June 19, 1959, in Portland, the daughter of Charles R. Pepin and Sandra (Proctor) Spangler. Vicki graduated from Machias Memorial High School in 1977. She spent most of her life caring for children and her siblings as she grew up, her own children and grandchildren, and many others in daycare centers and schools, most recently at Washington County Children’s Program. She truly had a gift in this area, having tremendous compassion, patience and endless kindness. Vicki had a remarkable faith in God. She was baptized March 31, 1985, and has since lived her life in His service. She was a member of Church of God -Preparing for the Kingdom of God. Vicki was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of countless people in her journey through life. Vicki was predeceased by her father, Charles R. Pepin. She is survived by her husband, J. Noble Snowdeal; her mother, Sandra (Proctor) Spangler and her husband, William, of Payson, Ariz.; her children, Eric and Suzie Ramsdell and their children, Anastasia and Xander of Delran, N.J., Ryan Ramsdell and her partner, and Mitchell Mahar and children, Dylan, Isabella, Savannah and Jayden of Jonesboro; stepdaughter, Janet Monteith of Westbrook; and Season Proctor of Skowhegan, whom she considered another daughter. She is also survived by six sisters, Lori Foss and her husband, Newman, of Payson, Ariz., Sherri Rowlee and her husband, Dan, of Imperial Beach, Calif., Jodi Romane and husband, Ed, of Rainier, Ore., Kimberli Becker and husband, Donnie, of Payson, Ariz., Bobbi-Jo Hlavacek and husband, Joe, of Payson, Ariz., and Michele Ratliff and husband, David, of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Frank Pepin of Montana; 18 nieces and nephews and their families. A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 10 Cooper St., Machias, with Pastor Ron Weinland officiating.
