HOULTON – Frances M. Rush, 87, died May 6, 2009, at a local health care facility. She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Monticello, the daughter of Eric E. and Otalee (Harris) Rush. Frances enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, crocheting and putting puzzles together. The love of her life was spending time with family and friends on the family farm in Monticello, walking and cross-country skiing with friends. She is survived by her son, Rodney Rush of Farmingdale; her brother, Austin Rush; two sisters, Erla Chase and Norma Webb; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Almon Rush; and her sister, Esma Omicioli. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment will be at Monticello Jewell Cemetery.
