LINCOLN – Thelma M. Parker, 90, wife of the late Wesley Parker, passed away May 6, 2009, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born July 23, 1918, in Springfield, the daughter of Jesse and Lyda (Jipson) Stevens. Thelma volunteered at Colonial Healthcare as a RSVP volunteer for more than 30 years and had her own reserved parking space. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Parker and Florence Libby of Holden, and Michael Parker and his wife, Helen, of Windham; one brother, Blake Stevens and his wife, Lottie, of Lee; one sister, Hildred Scott of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Helena Stevens of Springfield; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Cemetery with the Rev. Linda Hatch officiating.
