ASHLAND – George W. Trusty, 78, beloved husband of Florence (Dionne) Trusty, died Nov. 25, 2008, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Caribou after a long illness. He was born July 5, 1930, in Caribou, the son of George M. and Yvonne (Michaud) Trusty. He worked for many years as a service representative at the Social Security Office, Presque Isle. He is survived by one son, Ryan Trusty and his wife, Alex, of Portland; three daughters, Georgette Trusty of Bangor, Michelle Bowers of Presque Isle and Yvonne Edwards of Naples; two sisters, June Haffner of North Dakota and Dawn Devlin of Seattle; and 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will be at a later date at the parish cemetery.
