ASHLAND – Florence A. Trusty, 75, beloved wife of George W. Trusty, died May 14, 2009, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Albert and Rose-Anne (Lavigne) Dionne. Mrs. Trusty was employed as a schoolteacher for many years. She is survived by one son, Ryan Trusty and his wife, Alex, of Portland; three daughters, Georgette Trusty of Bangor, Michelle Bowers of Presque Isle and Yvonne Edwards of Naples; four brothers, Omer Dionne and Leo Dionne, both of Grand Isle, the Rev. Victor Dionne of Chateauguay, Quebec, and Albert Dionne Jr. of Caribou; one sister, Cecile MacKenzie of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; and 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
