FRENCHVILLE – Patricia B. Roy, 94, died peacefully May 15, 2009, surrounded by her family at a Frenchville nursing home. She was born Sept. 24, 1914, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Joseph and Modeste (Lausier) Bourgoin. She is survived by four sons and their wives, Pete and Georgette, Leopold and Charlene, both of St. Agatha, Jean Marc and Edna of St. Basil, New Brunswick and Lionel of Old Orchard Beach; two daughters, Claudette Roy of Skowhegan and Sylvia and her husband, James Virgona, of Cliffside Park, N.J.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace Marriner of Birmingham, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvio P. Roy. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday until the time of services at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Ouellette officiating. Burial will be held at St. Luce Cemetery.
