MILFORD – Earl H. Whitmore, 67, died May 26, 2009 at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 23, 1942, in Old Town, a son of Damond Earl and Rita (Girouard) Whitmore. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He attended Old Town schools and was employed for 40 years at James River. He is survived by three daughters, Syldania Coulombe and her husband, Tim, of Olamon, Wendy Whitmore of Old Town and Amy Israel and her husband, Jere, of Old Town; 10 grandchildren, Brandi Coulombe, Heather Barnett, Tim Coulombe Jr., Alicia Whitmore, Alexandra Whitmore, Jaime Whitmore, Jena Whitmore, Jillian Whitmore, Cy Israel and Carter Israel; eight siblings, Emily LeBlanc and her husband, Emile, of Attleboro, Mass., Richard Whitmore and his wife, Beverly, of Bangor, Alan Whitmore of Enfield, Conn., Dennis Whitmore and his wife, Roxanne, of Milford, Amelia Moore and her husband, James, of Milford, Carol Young and her husband, Kendall, of Enfield, Conn., Roger Whitmore of Lincoln, Brian Whitmore and his wife, Karen, of Milford; a good friend, Bruce Trask; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Damond Earl Whitmore; his wife, Martha Whitmore; and a grandson, Adam Whitmore. The family wishes to thank the staff at Dialysis Center of Eastern Maine for the excellent care given to Earl. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Thomas Farley officiating.
