DEDHAM – Scott Matthew Plummer, 55, died peacefully May 27, 2009, at his home. He was born April 26, 1954, in Bangor, the son of Elmer W. and Evangeline A. (Mathews) Plummer. Scott was a former member of the Town of Dedham Planning Board, where he served for several years. He was the longtime owner and operator of Lucerne Lawn and Landscape Inc., where he enjoyed working with his son. Scott enjoyed living in Lucerne and along Phillips Lake, where he had built and owned several homes. He was a great lover of his many dog companions throughout the years. He was greatly loved as a father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather, and will be dearly missed. In addition to his father of Brewer, he is survived by a son, Scott Plummer Jr. and special friend, Amy Pushor, of Dedham; a daughter, Jenny-Lin Bennett and husband, Reginald, of Dupont, Wash.; sisters, Janice Farrar and husband, Ralph Jr., of Lamoine, and Linda Bangs and husband, Robert, of Bangor; two grandchildren, Corbin and Aeden; a special friend, Joey Lynch; nieces and nephews, Amy Duym, Nicole Higgs, Todd Bangs, Tara Hoke, Tonya Cubeta, Tasha Morris, Tamara Lancaster, Toby Sullivan and Tianna Pepper. He was predeceased by his mother; and a sister, Dawna Sullivan. Funeral services will be private at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
