WAITE and BANGOR – Frances Lenora Dudley, 86, passed away peacefully May 29, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Sept. 11, 1922, in Waite, daughter of Justus and Grace (Rioux) Rideout. Frances was a longtime member of Waite Congregational Church. Religion was a guiding light and she had a closeness to God and her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her door was always open for her family and friends, and she loved to welcome anyone who came to visit. More than anything her family was her life and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three daughters, Wendy Johnson and husband, Tim, of Baring, Norma Baker of Bangor and Louise Pomeroy and husband, Wes, of Atlanta; a son, Maurice Dudley and wife, Tucker, of Longview, Texas; a sister, Charlotte Renaud of Eastport; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Norman Dudley Sr., she was predeceased by a son, Norman Dudley Jr.; and three grandchildren. Services will be announced at a later date.
