COS COB, Conn., and DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Joseph A. Ginise Jr., 73, passed away May 17, 2009, at North Broward Hospital, Pompano Beach, Fla. Joe was the son of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Jennie R. Chiappetta Ginise. He was a lifelong resident of Cos Cob, Conn., until moving to Florida eight years ago. Joseph was the owner of J&R Paving, Greenwich, Conn., and Deerfield Beach, Fla., and a lifetime member of St. Lawrence Club, Cos Cob, Conn. He is survived by his wife, Marie of Deerfield Beach, Fla., daughter, Jennifer Fromholz and her husband, David, of Walden, N.Y.; son, Ralph and wife, Tamra, of Monroe; son, Joseph A. III and wife, Annie, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; one grandson, Joseph A. IV of Pompano Beach, Fla.; his brother, Anthony Ginise and his wife, Joyce, of Norwalk, Conn.; sister, Donna Ginise-Green and her husband, Roger, of Temple, Texas; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Concetta and Virginia “Ginny” Ginise-Finley; and brother, Ralph Ginise. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. June 20 at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, Riverside, Conn.
