CARIBOU – Adeline Hammer, 90, wife of the late George Hammer, died June 11, 2009, in Caribou. She was born Sept. 20, 1918, in Woodland, the daughter of Fred and Annie (St. Germain) Bell. She was employed at Potato Service for several years. Adeline was a lifelong member of Caribou Assembly of God Church and was also a member of the Seniority Program. She is survived by three sons, Bernard “Bunny” Doak and his wife, Betty, of Deland, Fla., Phil Doak and his wife, Jackie, of Woodland, and Russell Doak and his wife, Charlotte, of Caribou; a daughter, Helen Ouellette and her husband, Wayne, of Griswold, Conn.; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Janice Wright. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George; a son, Robert Doak; three brothers, Joseph, William and Philip Bell; and two sisters, Irene Doody and Clara Bell. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev.
