DOVER-FOXCROFT – Dora E. Noyes, 87, died peacefully June 10, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Joseph Sr. and Georgianna (Norflece) Goodrow. Dora is survived by two sons, Walter Noyes and his wife, Violet, and Michael Noyes and his wife, Debbie; and four daughters, Sandra Davis and her husband, Clifford, Shirley Merrill and her husband, Arthur, Sheila Chambers and her husband, David, and Georgann Noyes and her companion, Wayne Russell. She is also survived by two brothers, Joseph Goodrow Jr. and Isaac Goodrow; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dora was predeceased by a sister, Marcella Burton; and two brothers, David Goodrow Sr. and Timothy Goodrow. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
