PERHAM – Ivan Espling, 61, died June 14, 2009, at his residence. He was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Woodland, the son of Carl and Anna (Strid) Espling. Ivan was employed at McCain’s for several years as a forklift operator. He was a loving and devoted husband and father to his family. He married Susan (Martin) Espling, June 5, 1967. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Perham, are one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Paul Wallace of Limestone; seven brothers, Clarence Espling and his wife, Janice, Sheldon Espling and his wife, Darlene, Keith Espling and his wife, Nancy, Justin Espling and his wife, Angela, all of Caribou, Darrell Espling and his wife, Verna, and James Espling, both of Woodland, and Everett Espling and his wife, Vicky, of Ellsworth; five sisters, Nancy Corbin and her husband, Herbert, Rayline Belanger and her husband, Jeff, both of Caribou, Carline Warman and her husband, Roger, of Greenville, Arline Johnson and her husband, Brice, of Perham, and Roselyn Gideon and her husband, Frances, of Quebec; two grandchildren, Dustin and Taylor Wallace; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a grandson, Tanner Wallace. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 19, with the Rev. Ron Rosser officiating.
