GREENVILLE – David “Leigh” Wohlforth passed away peacefully June 16, 2009, from complications after a long and brave battle with cancer. He was born July 24, 1950, son of Ernest and Elsie (Walker) Wohlforth. Leigh retired and moved to Greenville in 2006. He worked his entire life as a driver/ warehouser for Conrad Distributors, Deptford, N.J. He loved boating on the Delaware River with his friends, watching hockey and football on his big screen television, online computing, skiing, especially at Killington, Vt., Breckenridge, Colo., and Whistler, British Columbia, and snowmobiling with family and friends in the Moosehead Lake area. He will be deeply missed by his longtime partner, Doris Girgenti; his son, Jason and wife, Melissa, and their two children, Austin and MacKenzie, of Swedesboro, N.J.; his brother and best friend, Noel, and his wife, Linda, and son, Josh, of Greenville; his brother, Ernest and his partner, Barbara Taylor, of Mays Landing, N.J., and Florida and his two sons, Christopher and Curtis; Doris’ daughter, Sarah Pacilli and her son, Christopher, of Runnemede, N.J.; and all his many South Jersey friends. In accordance with Leigh’s wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will hold a celebration of his life 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at 18 South Birch St., Greenville Junction, for anyone who may wish to visit.
