HAVERHILL, Mass. – Barbara (Bonvie) Weinburg, 64, died June 18, 2009, at Penacook Place, Haverhill, Mass. She was born Jan. 3, 1945, in Nova Scotia, daughter of the late George and Sarah Bonvie. Barbara was educated in Nova Scotia and also attended college in Boston. She resided in Lynn, Mass., for many years and was the former head clerk at Lynn City Hall. In 1995 she moved to Groveland, Mass., and had been a resident since. Barbara had also worked with FEMA and loved animals. She is survived by close friends, Donna Kempton of Enfield and Claire Watson of Groveland, Mass. Her friends express their grateful appreciation to Penacook Place for the quality care that Barbara received. Services will be private and at the convenience of her friends.
