CORINNA – Bernice Coulimore, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, July 5, 2009, while at her son Jonathan’s home, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in New Durham, N.H., first-born daughter of Lewis and H. Irene (Nutter) Wentworth. Bernice graduated from Farmington High School, Farmington, N.H., and then from Gordon College when it was located on the Fenway in Boston. While at Gordon College, she met her husband, Herbert, who predeceased her in 1992. They were married Nov. 30, 1943. Mom was a Christian lady who helped out her husband in the church and by helping out anyone who needed help, whether family or friend. Bernice loved traveling, especially to spend time with her family. Bernice was a stay-at-home mom who took care of the home, her family and the farm. Bernice is survived by her children, Jonathan and wife, Elinor, of Vancouver, Wash., Philip and wife, Terry, of Loveland, Colo., Mary and Ruth Coulimore of Whitman, Mass., James “Jim” of Portland, and Esther and husband, Brent Ireland, of Greenville; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a very dear family friend, Evelyn Brooks of Corinna. Bernice is also survived by two sisters, Mabel Tobey of Kittery Point and Lurene Wentworth of New Durham, N.H.; an uncle, Roger Nutter of Farmington, N.H.; several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by five brothers. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Stetson Road, Exeter, with Pastor Stan Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
