CARIBOU – Caroline W. Kelley, 89, wife of the late Carroll Kelley, died July 8, 2009, at Eagle Lake. She was born May 31, 1920, in Washburn, the daughter of the late Carroll and Bessie (Lacey) Wilder. Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of Washburn High School, as well as Bryant Stratton College, Boston. She was a member and past president of Mars Hill Literary Club, as well as being a member and past president of Cary Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her three children, Peter Kelley, Esq. and his wife, Marcia, Michael Kelley and his wife, Diana, all of Caribou, and Nancy Merette of Annapolis, Md.; one sister, Joan Cambridge of Brewer; a brother, Harold Wilder of Sparks, Nev.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at Crouseville Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Kelley may do so through the charity on one’s choice.
