LINCOLN and KENNEBUNK – Lois Ann Thomas passed away July 18, 2009, at a Biddeford hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1929, in Skowhegan. Lois was a graduate of Skowhegan High School and the University of Maine, Orono. She formerly was employed as a telephone operator by New England Telephone & Telegraph and as a librarian at Ella P. Burr School and Lincoln Memorial Library. She was also employed as a bank teller at Northeast Bank of Lincoln, did seasonal work at Dead River Co., Brewer, as well as S&S Transportation, Lincoln. She was treasurer of Lincoln Republican Town Committee for five years and worked on the board of voter registration as well. She also enjoyed singing with the University of Maine Oratorio Society and was a season ticket holder for the University of Maine Basketball games. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Hale Thomas II. She leaves behind three children: son, Albert Hale Thomas III and wife, Maya and their sons, Amar John Thomas and Raj Kumar Thomas; daughter, Martha Thomas and delightful friend, Geraldine Thibodeau and Martha’s daughter, Whitney Martin; and daughter, Rita Thomas and her wife, Anita Kennedy. She is also survived by her beloved significant other, Joseph Boudreau; and his children: son, Peter and wife, Corrie Boudreau and their daughter, Dakota; and his daughter, Bonnie and husband, Gary Cobleigh and their daughters, Kristen and Neleah and sons, Justin, Luke and Marcus. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Edwin Thomas and wife, Loretta; and sister-in-law, Diane Edes and husband, Bill. She also has many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. Per her request, there will be no funeral services.
