BANGOR – Karen Ann Moore, 41, died July 30, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 16, 1968, in Belfast, the daughter of Howard and Margaret (Dean) Moore. Karen was a very creative and artistic person. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and painting. She loved her two cats, her friends and family. She was predeceased by both parents. She is survived by her maternal grandmother, Alcadia Dean of Swanville; five brothers and sisters, Carolyn and James Knight of Monroe, Harold and Cheryl Moore of Jackson, Robert Moore of Swanville, David and Cathy Moore of Swanville and Cindy and Micky McIntire of Swanville; many nieces and nephews; and her companion, Darol Kubert of Bangor. Friends are invited to a time of fellowship 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, with a memorial service 7 p.m. A second memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Bangor, and announced at a later date.
